Seriously Elated
I am officially excited about going to grad school now. That's because I have a small change of plans from Cooperstown and will be moving to Washington DC this fall!!! Hooray! This is what I wanted from the beginning and am now officially accepted. So it's official, I can hardly wait! It's been my dream for awhile now, as Julie can attest! I will be going to George Washington University and studying museum studies. I no longer have to fake excitement for grad school because it is 100% genuine now. Oh, and everyone that was seriously annoyed by incessant "Who wants to go to Thailand?" queries can now rest easy. I no longer need a trip to make me excited about life. This move is pretty much going to do it!

How fun! Congratulations! I'm glad your happiness is no longer fake, it makes for a much less nervous journey forward.
YEAH! Since I've known you...and it's been awhile...you have always wanted to go there! I am so excited for you! Congrats! I'll have to make a trip to come visit...I've always wanted to go to DC and now I know someone there!
Hey I will go to Thailand! AND I CAN"T WAIT FOR YOU TO MOVE OUT HERE!
Congrats Jenette! I am so excited you got to go where you wanted. You will do well living it up in DC!
I am SO excited for you!! I will definitely come and visit you!
What about The National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum??? What about The Cooperstown Farmer's Museum??? How are you going to deal with not studying these places!?! I bet there isn't even a museum in D.C. worth mentioning.
So what are you going to even study...that huge statue of George Washington that looks more like a obelisk than a person?! And you realize that the "national mall" isn't even a mall, right?!?!
(if your hands feel greasy after reading this post and you're not sure why, it's probably due to all the sarcasm dripping off it...)
Hooray! I suspected you would eventually get accepted. I'm glad it happened in May instead of August; that makes for much calmer preparations.
That is awesome!! I'm so proud of you....
