The Wednesday/Thursday Trend

It's official. It rains on Wednesdays and Thursdays this spring. I've noticed. The weatherman has noticed. In fact, I've noticed trends in the weather since I began my job. It seems to always rain the first week in June (the first week of camp) and the first part of May and October (I remember the October event because of one incident in the rain, in the corral, trying to get the cow in the barn...oh yeah, I was in tears too). I cannot control the weather (people can continue to ask me to, but it won't ever happen) and I can't tell teachers when to schedule their field trips for the best possible weather. It's just not going to happen. I think someday I will miss the ridiculous nature of these requests, but for now, I'm really excited to be rid of those pesky questions.

All of this gloomy, rainy nastiness IS exceedingly annoying. Supposedly through the weekend it's going to be cloudy, although hopefully dry...but I wasnt it to be nice weather during weekdays too, dangit!!

Did you know this week is (was?) "Cache Valley Bike to Work Week"?? Yep. Every single day this week our secretary at work has sent out a reminder about it as well as info about Prizes & Breakfast snacks that were given out for bicyclists who stopped by the Cache County Courthouse between 7:00am & 9:00am earlier this week....but the weather's been all crummy. If you did happen to ride your bike, pretty much every day you'd have been riding home in the rain. Bleh....not the kind of weather that inspires me to go out & be active, I tell ya.

I love the rain. I've decided though that it needs to rain during the nighttime (when we are all asleep) and be beautiful and sunny during the day! Could you get to work on that for me Jenette?
